THE SPHERICAL STAIR CASE ADDED A TOUCH OF ELEGANCE AND BEAUTY TO THE DESIGN.
SOLID POURED CONCRETE WALLS 13" THICK MADE IT A HURRICANE SHELTER AS WELL.
Working on this home was very interesting and fun. The home owner had a great imagination and great creativity. He wanted a great room 41' wide x 48' deep and 33' high with no columns!! So we had to frame it in steel and then make the steel look like wood beams. His mind moves so fast with changes that we ended up throwing away the orginal drawings about a third of the way through the project and just made changes to design as we went along.
